Just got my Tasman

#1

Post by FLYBYU44 »

Just got my Tasman I won on ebay. I got a plain edge model with the yellow handle. Taking it out of the box and opening it for the first time I realized that it isn't a NKP knife by any stretch, it's pretty wicked looking. It's came shaving sharp and I think the hawkbill blade shape is good for a work knife, which this one will be. It takes over for my Saver Salt. I found it funny that my Saver Salt has a thicker blade then the Tasman. The Tasman has the same thickness blade as my Delica. Overall the knife is pretty decent, especially for the price I paid. Maybe a Superhawk is in my future.

I think the Tasman blade on a Ti handle would be sweet, especially with a framelock.
