Upgraded knives... How do I know?

Post by liko »

I've seen in the catalogs that the Delica and Endura have been upgraded to flat-ground VG-10. For me, A Delica with these upgrades sounds like a good buy. My question is: How do you know you're getting the 2002 model from a mail-order site? Spyderco seems a pretty safe bet, but I don't want to spend that much unless it's the only guarantee of no-hassle ordering (and it is pretty much a guarantee). So, which sites do you know have the *new* Delicas in PE?

You can always email first. See if they are stocking it yet. I think the new Delica is a few dollars more than the old.
