There are exceptions to this, but generally the ones with S30V steel are made at the Spyderco factory in Golden, Colorado.

You can search the catalog by blade steel.

To my knowledge, all 154CM, CPM-S30V, CPM-440V (aka S60V), CPM-S90V, CPM-D2, and CPM-M4 (along with the 52100 Mule) models are made in Golden. An exception is the Taiwanese-made Sage (S30V).

Most --not all- GIN-1 and ATS-34 models are Japanese made. 440C models are usually Golden-made, but not always.

All, AUS-6, AUS-8, ATS-55, VG10, H-1, and ZDP-189 models are Japanese made.

8Cr13MoV models are Chinese made. As far as N690Co, I know the Volpe was Italian made. I don't know where the Hossom fixed blades are produced.

If I've mistaken anything, someone please correct me.

I don't exactly understand your question. I do know that the Centofante II was made of ATS-34, though.

ATS-34 is a Japanese steel, so it would be made in Japan. Regarding his question, if the Terzoula has ATS-34, it'll be made in Japan as well.

I am unfamiliar with any Spyderco's with 154CM. If there is, please let me know.

The "S" model has the 440c Blade steel and is made in Taiwan.
It features the MIM - Metal injection molding, to form the blade. Same as the Kershaw Offset.

If we go back to older Spydercos, there were some made in Golden with Japanese steel. As an example, when first released the C41 Native used GIN-1. Believe most of the Renegades and Blackhawks used it as well. As for 440C, it seems to get around. In addition to models made in the Golden, Taiwan, and Japan, I think the original version of the Peter Herbst used it, and that was made in Germany.

Personally I'm kinda with outlaw on this, only even more so. To me, no matter where it's made, if it has Spydeco's name on it, that's good enough for me. As of this writing, in addtion to the models they build in Golden, they've used makers in Japan, Switzerland, Germany, Taiwan, Italy, and China. I think if someone did a totally dispassionate side by side comparison of the Swiss made C22 Walker and the CF version of the Sage, the Sage would come off very well.

For those to whom country of origin does matter, the single safest ways to tell is to look at the tang stamp on older models, and check the 2009 catalog on current stuff. The catalog even has little "flag" pictograms for those whose value system places greater importance on nationalism than literacy.

As for the number of models currently made in Golden, considering the size of the Spyderco factory, it's remarkable they make as many different models as they do.

Just found out The Cento 2 was USA made and had ATS-34 and I think the First Terzoula was the same way.

US made, but IIRC, not made in Golden. As I understand it, Spyderco did not yet have manufacturing facilities at that time, so they were contracted out.

If I'm not mistaken, the SpyderFly is/was made of 154CM.

SpyderFly originally was VG-10, then 440C. Rainbow version was 440C. The original Szabofly was VG-10, the current version is 154CM, as are the live blade versions of the SmallFly.
