I'm looking forward to this design. I've thought about the SS version a lot since it's release. G10 solves the only drawback it had, for me. The weight of such a small knife.

I'd take either one. It's a neat knife.

For the Poliwog, I think steel is ideal.

Hey Vito, do you speak Spanish? Veo que usted es italiano, pero las idiomas son similares, ¿no?

I like the appearance of the metal version, but I expect the G10 model to feel better in hand with the grippy texture and warm feeling to the scales, and I'll prefer the lighter weight. Looking forward to this release.

I've been a longtime fan of the Poliwog, but the Lava replaced it for me, mainly because it was lighter. I'd go for the G10 version.

Steel just doesn't blow my hair back. I much prefer FRN to steel.

I can't wait for the G10 Poliwog! I have the SS and I love the design, another masterpiece but it was a bit heavy for my tastes.

It is in the 2009 catalog, I don't believe there is a ETA yet but it's high on my list to pick up

It's great news that there will be a G10 version.

Can anyone tell me:

What is the Poliwog's mission in life?

Was it designed as a self defense knive?

Who designed the Poliwog?

Thanks in advance.

Still we are waiting new poly G-10 will be out on stock!
I decided i start to save money for a new poly and a new Chinook and in Europe they are very expansive models!
But now i have a doubt!
Polywog will be out only in black G-10 handle or will be something like DODO..
In blue too?
If will be out in 2 color options i think i have to count 2 polywog!!!

So someone know about handle colors will be out?

Steel version its a good piece the only not good point it is heavy to care everyday...G-10 will replace the weak point and will be perfect to EDC.

For utility eventually self defence and at same time elegant folder its a very good little big knive!

I am a fan of the Poliwog. I like it's design, it fits my hand comfortably. The weight of the stainless version does not bother me. Hope to grab the G-10 Poliwog soon :D
