Reading through I see alot of industry lingo.

Figured my first post here would be to start a Lingo Dictionary.

AO is Auto Opener, I thought.... maybe the other is more common....

PE plain edge

EDC every day carry

FRN fiber reinforced nylon

CF carbon fiber of course

SS stainless steel

There have been some I read and at least one I made up...

EVC = Everyday Vehicle Carry (I made this one up)

LBP = Left Back Pocket

LFP = Left Front Pocket

LRP = Left Rear Pocket

RBP = Right Back Pocket

RFP = Right Front Pocket

RRP = Right Rear Pocket

SD = Self Defense

I remember puzzling over quite of few of these abbr. Here are a few more that we commonly see here:

MBC = Martial Blade Craft

NKP = Non Knife People

LBK = Little Big Knife

FG = Foliage Green

UKPK = United Kingdom Pen Knife

Folks love their abbr. and KFLTKA (knife folks love their knife abbreviations). :D

As far as lingo goes, I've been wondering for a long time what exactly a "spyderdrop" entails. Anyone care to explain? I tried searching youtube for demo videos, but couldn't find any.

You grab the blade hole between your finger and thumb and flick your wrist down. The handle flies open and locks, probably not to easy on the lock, but it's a cool, fast way to open a spydie.
