Black Endura

Post by Girevik »

I have a Endura with a black serrated blade. I bought it about eight years ago. I haven't seen any other Enduras with a black blade. Anyone know how many of these were made.

Dude ~ The black Endura and Delica does have a nice tactical touch to it.. Read somewhere in the Blade Forums that most of the knives which were hard used had its coating thinning out or scratched off.. Spyderco produced a limited run on these babies which I believed, were the early models with plastic clothing clips..

I have one of each of these. The guy I got them from dates all of his knife boxes when he gets them in. The Delica is from 94 and the Endura is dated 96. Both of mine have the plastic clip.

I have an Endura with the black blade. Sigh.. wish mine was still as pretty as the Delica is. Mine shows some wear but overall the finish has held up rather well.

I would be glad to post a scan if anybody wants to see it.

Any chance that there will be another run of these? I would love a couple with blue handles, new style clips and black blades.
