What Spydies have you bought lately?

Post by Agent Starling »

Last week I bought:

Tasman Salt SE FRN Black
Mini Persian--my 1st Schempp knife, yay!

I have bought very few Spyders this year, or any sort of knife for that matter, so this was an event for me! :)

Its been a while since I visited the Spydie forums, but I have bought the following in the last few months or so:
A couple of Natives as gifts
Spyder-Edge Caly III
Lava
Spyder-edge Military
Chinook
and (the largest knife I have ever bought)
the Hossom Forester

I was also in a Mountaineering store in Sydney the other day, and they had a range of Spydercos (all of which I had), but I did managed to convince another customer who was looking at them to buy one - I think he got an SE Endura.
Top :spyder:s : Caly 3, Stretch, Millie, Manix 2, Police, Kopa, Polliwog, Meerkat, Chinook III, and SuperHawk.

Within the last month it has been:

Police 3
Adventura
Volpe
Cara Cara Rescue

Aside from my CC#d knives, not that many lately and, surprise, surprise, they were mostly Kiwis. Santa Fe Mammoth Tooth Kiwi at Blade Show, "Wooden Eagle" Kiwi, also from them, Turquoise and Dino Bone Kiwis, again by them but purchased on eBay, and an un-numbered CF production Kiwi just because I couldn't wait for my numbered one. Aside from them, a Police III for the same reason as the CF Kiwi and a collaboration model that I wanted but which, for some odd reason Image was not part of the Collectors Club. ;) :D

In the last few weeks: G-10 Delica 4, Byrd Wings. A Tenacious just before that. Back in late May - UKPK and SS Dragonfly. Starting to get back into the swing of things:-) I think a G-10 Police/SE is calling..........

Perrin Street Beat... just love that little guy. Tec-Loc off and drop in cargo pocket for work around the house, hiking, etc. It is a nice piece.

Hmm, last month or so it's been 3 Kris' a Blue 93mm Rescue and a CE D4W.

Starling, if you like your little Persian, I would HIGHLY recommend grabbing a Kris while they are still around. LOTS of curves on that blade, just like you like 'em!

Bought a Military CF S90V. I should receive it in the next week or so. Can somebody tell me what kind of grind it comes with out of the box?

Thank you very much.
