Knifeworks just called and is shipping out my Bob Lum Chinese Folder!!! :D :D :D

I have waited for years for this knife and now finally getting it, can't wait.

Congrats! Enjoy it. The Lum Chinese folder is one of the most elegant looking Spydercos. Do wish they came left handed.

any distributors going to have this in stock or are they all spoken for right now ?

I have 2 on order with outdoorpros.com and im not to fond of the business with them, so i want to cancel but they dont answer the phone, go figure

Hey Riot, i believe there are actually way more preordered than will actually be available. I wouldn't cancel that order just yet in any case. Hope it works out for you.

i already did, i have this gut feeling that they are all spoken for right now and if im stuck in one order and they dont get any ill be screwed, so id much rather be free to shop around and find some in stock so i can puchase on the spot

Hey Riot

On the phone, Roger from Knifeworks told me they only have 5 in stock for now and they ordered about 200 but there are 500 people on the waiting list.

He told thats the situation for most web dealers out there, they might have like 50 ordered but there are 300 on the waiting list.

Went and picked mine up @ the SFO this morning, Mike there said they only got twenty and all those were for people on waiting list.

im crossing my fingers for tomorrow morning, just got a little tip from a distributor, let you guys know instantly after i lock 2 up hopefully :confused:

Lads and lasses , i found a website that is selling this knife. They are a spyderco dealer well they have alot of spydies anyway. maybe some one could call or email and see if he has any left. I personally cant afford one but they sure are pretty.

That one looks like it's still marked as a pre-order item.... not sure if they have them in stock yet or not.

i called first thing this morning at knifecenter and they confirmed they had 6 unspoken for, i was only allowed to snag one and its confirmed shipping


FYI call asap to see if those other 5 are available

no problem glad i could help, i would have let you guys know yesterday but i wanted to make sure it was forsure, ill be getting my 1st lum in 2 days too

Made my 1st Spyderco folder purchase an easy choice! (Dumb Luck)
Have not had a knife in that blade steel. Looking forward to it!
