Your favorite carry combo?

#1

Post by Billy »

Ok, I usually carry my knives in 3's - one large, one small and always my SE Tasman for the real nasty stuff. I like to switch up my large/small combo and they typically shake out like this:

BG-42 Millie and G-10 Caly 3 (dressier and super sharp combo)
D2 Millie and FG D4 (lots of foliage green here)
CE S30V Mille and D4W (more of a utility type feel for this one)
Chinook III and Mini Persian (dangerous curves :rolleyes :)
FG E4 and PE Cricket (I just like this combo)
Pink E4 and Orange Rescue 79mm (these two along with my yellow Tasman makes for a very colorful/happy combo - good for NKP heavy environments :D )

I just think the above combos work nicely together both in function and form. So what about anyone else? Am I the only one that likes to pair up knives that both look good and work good together? Oh yeah, my favorite combo is the first one and what's in my pockets this week. :D :D
I prefer to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.
I LOVE MY MILLIES

BG42 Military + Spin
Millie or Para + Victorinox Soldier

I usually just carry one Spyderco and a Vic Classic. I was into the combo thing for a while but it ended up being deadweight in my pockets. One knife works for me.
May you find peace in this life and the next.

Lately it's been a Tasman Salt SE paired with either a FG UKPK or Stretch II.

My blue PE Dodo is a constant with me. This little blue bugger just won't accept no for an answer, so it's always a part of my EDC. A Delica 4 has been another EDC for me until my Mini Persian arrived and took over. :D
