Orange Ocalot please

Is there any way Spyderco would think about a very short run of orange g10 Ocalots?

There is a knife out called the Pro Hunter in orange G10. I think the knife designer is the same one that did the collaboration with Spyderco on the Ocelot. The overall shape of these two look similiar.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes,it is Tim Wenger .
Thats why I think it would be just right to have at least some of the Ocalot in orange.

Yeah, that makes sense. I'm a fan of orange G10 also. I don't think it's possible with the Ocelot though, I thought they were being discontinued.

Just for your information you know Tim made a batch 40 custom prototypes, before he handed the design over to Spyderco and they are around the $375 range. Just in case your interested :D

sorry thought I'd tease you into buying the custom lol

Jeff, have you considered just getting a regular Ocelot and having STR, or someone else, re-scale it in orange G-10? A few places have them fairly cheap right now.

I guess it can be done with a few drills of different sizes.

To each their own. The Ocelot is a great design IMHO. Variations of with or without the paw prints would have been nice.

The Ocelot for some was a bummer with the paw prints , and I have to say it was a big disappoint for me , regarding anything else this is a great knife . Any knife to be used as a Hunting Folder should never have a possibility matter from a harvest lodged into the handle of a blade . This reduced the Ocelot to a nice EDC but not a super Hunter folder for me . Care less about color , hunters only need to use after a shot . MG2
