So, I come from Croatia. From my early days I was in love with swords, katanas, axes and knives. Nowadays I'm little bit wiser so my interests are in more practical stuff like folding knives.
About 15 years ago I saw :spyder: Police and was very impressed with quality, look, and feel of the knife. Didn't buy it thought.
Now I EDC Military SE. Absolutely love the thing :D ! I've read a lot of reviews, thoughts about milly, and surly agree that it is one of best knives out there.
For about a year or so I'm reading threads from this forum and think it is excellent. A lot of information, pictures, and most important, spydermaniacs! Thing is, in my home town I know just one guy who likes knives (he used to carry Cold Steel San Mai II). Most of the folks are not in to sharp thingies, and especially if they have to pay more than 20$. To give 200$ for knife (like I did for military) is something unbelievable for most. My argument is usually that I have lifetime warranty for the thing, and ask what warranty to they have on their 200$ pants, tennis shoes, jackets...
So, hi everybody!

:spyder: :spyder:  :spyder: :spyder: Hey Greg....Welcome to Spyderholics "AA" :D You'll spend alot more money, and have $h!tloads of fun....The best people hang out at Spyderforums!!! That was well said bro...I have friends who have ALOT of REAL expensive "stuff"--Hats, jackets, watches, chains, rings, and even $40,000 rides  , and they tell me I'm psycotic for paying more than $20 for a knife  I tell them, "hey, how much did you pay for those Nike's your runnin through the mud with, or how about that $40,000 ride you go mud boggin with, and rarely wash"; They say, "that's what they were made for", or "it was better than spending $800, or so on a ugly@$$ $h!tbox, and it will last longer". So I asked them, if I went out and got a Para-Millie, or Ti-Atr that cost upwards of $200, and you went, and got your $20 special at the Clamperd's yard sale, who's knife would last longer.....Hmmmmmm  "Ya, good luck with that", I said :D

Me love :spyder: , but me hate spending money  !
Also I must note that I hate you guys for posting cool pictures, knowing a lot, and making me want more... I bought pro-hunter for my wife (a couple years ago), and off course sharpmaker to make my blades razor-oops-I-need-that-finger sharp.
Just today I placed order for smallfly (luckily balisongs are legal here), and tenacious for my friend (he also thinks 20$ is OK to pay for knife). But that barong looks cool, and so does superhawk, sage... :D
