Blue Ladybug CE information
So before I even knew what Spyderco was, my friend bought two blue Ladybugs and i bought one from him. This was at least 4 or 5 years ago. Can anyone give me any information on it? I know it's a ladybug but I'm not sure which generation or is there is anything particularly special about it. I DID notice that there was no blade steel marking on it, but that's probably just because there wasn't enough space to fit it! Thanks in advance for all your help!

IIRC the Ladybug is/was available in three model series:
Ladbug (black - P/S/CE, blue + green + red + grey + pink + yellow - CE, forest green - P/S; all with FRN handle and AUS-6 blade steel and last but no least in shiny Carbon fiber - ATS-55 blade steel, CE)
Ladybug II (rescue blade, black FRN, AUS-6)
Ladybug 3 (SS handle + black, white and orange FRN, VG-10) - these are the current models.
The Ladybug blue was produced in 1997-2003.
