Hi all,
I recently bought a D'allara and it has a marking I haven't seen. It has '066V' on the side of the blade.
Any ideas?
thanks,
Brett

Hey! I have a bunch of 066's. I know that D'Allera, I've handled it even. Did you buy it in store or online?

I bought it in the store and the guy told me it was a run for Route 66 stores. I live in OKC, OK and the store is right on route 66.
could be BS, but who knows.

HHAHA Outdoor America on MacArthur! I told these guys on the forums about the "Rt 66" knives a year ago...
Total BS my friend. They may have chosen that number because of route 66 though. .
The collectors club is limited to 200. So 066 is just collector number 066.

I honestly figured it was BS, but didn't have the heart to argue with the guy.
Are you in OKC???

Another funny story about those guys.. and some of them are really sweet guys... is when they told me "We don't order from them anymore, they just send us the Route 66 knives out of the blue."

The "standard" collector club models are all serrated, so any that are plain or combo-edge get marked with the V. Just FYI.
