2 Spyderco's Iraq bound!

#1

Post by armyguy »

Hey everybody, I don't post much here but I do lurk occasionally.

I just ordered two Spyderco's for my upcoming deployment to Iraq. I ordered a Black Native CPMS30V and a Black Military C36GPSBK.

I must say I'm really excited about them. My every day carry knife now is a Delica SE and I love it. I receive comments all the time from the guys I work with about how well it cuts.

Anyhow, I just wanted to thank everybody on the forum. Being able to search everything was a tremendous asset in helping me with my purchase. I'm definately a proud Spyderco ambassador. I hope to get some pics up whenever I get over there of my Spydie's in action.

armyguy,

Be safe over there man. God be with you! Remember, if needed, don't be afraid to barter those Spydies away for intel or to save your life.

God Bless,
Dman

Good choices! Take a few pics of those knives in action - especially the Native! Thanks for serving. Despite what the media might lead you to believe, most of the nation is firmly supportive of our troops!

Hey ARMY GUY our prayers are with you all the way. Those are 2 very good selections you made. You might also consider packing some sort of Multi-tool along with them.

Well be very careful and please keep us posted. JD

Thanks so much everybody! I will definately post some pics up.

JD, yes, I do have a multi-tool already. I'll be carrying a Gerber that I've had for years that's already lasted me through a tour in Afghanistan. It's beat to ****, but it still works just as good as the day it was new.

Outstanding choices armyguy. Be careful over there the recent surge seems to have kicked the hornets nest, so to speak. Lots of hornets=lots of targets. Godspeed.
