Lake-Walker with BG42 blade modded by STR.Hope you don't mind ,Steve. Original had a terrible zytel framelock and now in titanium and G10. I did add the holes and slimmed the handles a bit. Now a great edc !!

I notice that it says "Schrade" on the closed blade, but not when it's open. Did you remove the name and polish up the blade?

perhaps my very 1st folding knife that i purchased .....? high school days?....a Schrade Uncle Henry Bear Paw lockback (I think...)... it was one of those Buck 110 cometitors.... nice knife....I actually still have it... somewhere

No, blade is untouched. That side has " Schrade Lake & Walker " on the other has" first production run 1 of 500". Uses the original (large)pivot. The later ones were made of lesser steels on the blade. I think the first 1,000production limited edition used BG42 blades. The real problem was that they made the locking part of thin steel mated to the zytel handle(framelock and were very flimsy and tended to go all the way thru when gripped to the opposite inside handles. Otherwise, this would have been a great framelock. We excluded the Walker lock on mine as I see no use for it.
