Anthrax (nearly) put me off

#1

Post by Spin »

Gosh, had anyone thought otherwise of ordering a knife by post recently because of the anthrax outbreak in the US?

I very nearly (thank god i didn't afterall) decided not to order my knife for christmas this year by post, fearing the box being cross contaminated on its way through the US post office to Hong Kong.

Well, new toy's is on its way in the mail now...Wife's telling me to get some plastic gloves and open the box outside the flat when i receive it...

Still think getting my christmas toy's worth the risk guys.

By the way, santa's bring me the wegner mouse this year...

how many days to christmas? umm...might consider getting an additional...

My local sporting goods shop,CMT, says they can order for me, so they open the padded envelope and I take the box, and if I still get it oh well.

The chances of getting anything are so remote well I don't think it is an issue.
You would probably have a better chance of getting hit by lighting on a clear day.

Won't stop me a bit.
I will still fly and not be afraid.
I'll go to large gatherings of people.
I'll visit tall buildings.
I won't let the SOBs ruin or alter my life.
I'm even leaving Japan to go back and live in the States. Doesn't bother me at all.

Spin,

Great X-mas present! Enjoy that large-eared rodent.

Ian,

I agree, go on, live your lives! Living in a crystal bubble isolated from this great big world would be no fun.

Postman has just arrived.

My new mouse sneaked out from the box the moment I opened the package.

It was as good and pretty as I have originally thought.

Just one point I've notice, the mouse's handle fits my hand very well, the finger groves are actually more comfy than, say, the navigator and my index finger have less risk of slipping onto the blade. That's the problem I found with the navigator.Any of you people out there have this problem or is it just me?

I am very very happy.

(By the way, still have no symptoms of getting anthrax...thanks for your assurances guys!)
