Most comfortable Spidie?

#1

Post by lmilhan »

Just out of curiosity:

Of the Spyderco knives you have owned/held/used, which one fits YOUR hand most comfortably?

For me, nothing beats the Poliwog ergonomics. It fits my hand so comfortably that it almost feels like it was custom made for me!

Honorable mention goes to the Lil' Temp and the Yojimbo.

So what is your most comfortable Spydie?

I really like how the Lil' Temp handle gets wider at the pinky! Most comfy...I dunno.

It would have to be the Lil' Temp for me too. It fits my hand perfectly, very comfy :)

D'Allara Drop Point. Has the swells in the handle which make it feel larger in my large hands.
It's better to have knife and not need it than to need a knife and not have it.

CF BG42 millie, and Stretch Joe

JD Smith and that settles it

I agree with what a couple of brothers have said about the Dodo because it is a comfortable knife to use.

But my all time favorite most comfortable Spyder is the JD SMITH C-58 model. Now there's a comeback candidate for ya

Well, you guys will probably laugh at this. When I was looking for a bigger knife for camping and the like, I looked at the Al Mar SERE 2000, several Benchmades (including some Presidios and the RUKUS) and then finally the Mini-Manix.

The Mini-Manix felt better in my hand than any of the other ones. It also felt better than a lot of the knives that I already owned.

Of the ones I own, toss up between Paramilitary and Caly 3 if weight isn't a consideration, Native III is also in there.

Got small hands so like smaller handles. I find the Meadowlark is great and the Delica 4 fits nicely, honorable mention to Caly 3 and Cara Cara.
