Another great looking knife! But with a polish like that it would HAVE to be STRICTLY a dress knife... I'd be too worried about getting blood on it

I take it that's the "blood stripe" running down the handle? Very nice work, something any Marine NCO would be proud to own.

That's lovely! Don't worry about getting the light box set up, that's already amazing!

Hi Butch.
Thanks for sharing your great work. Always a pleasure.
Too bad the knife is useless (you realize you can't actually cut all kind of crap with that thing, like you do with a regular KaBar) ;) Well, not quite useless, it makes for a great conversation piece - not to mention it looks good on the display stand too :)

yep even tho i made it with cpm154 and it is hardened to 61Rc
and is real world useable no way i would ever want to mar the blade or nicsilver butcap and guard
i still have to put the final edge on it and i know all it will do at most is open letters and shave arm hair to show off
but its a pride thing and we all know how marines have that espree de corp thing
its like they beat that into us at PI :D
any how thanks and just remember its too nice looking for most to use but it was made so it could if need be (ive see marines fight hand to hand in dress blues before :D )

As the resident Retarded...oops Retired Gunnery Sergeant and quite possibly
(depending on your time on PI) on of the ones who beat the Esprit de Corps
into you in the first place I can only say OUTSTANDING, MARINE.
Muscle, Fire, Steel, Pride (espirit de corps), all those things you were born with and that the Corps helped polish and hone show thru in that blade.
Wish I could feel the balance, it looks magnificent. Congradulations. Bigk6
