Watcha EDC?

#1

Post by dedguy »

So I searched long and hard and couldn't find the general EDC thread I know exists somewhere. I had to manually look through the pages so I may have missed it so sorry if I did. The no three character searches makes finding certain things almost impossible.

Anyway, decided to take some pics of my current EDC stuff. A lot of it is carried in a messenger bag (bag) but I found I carry a surprising amount of stuff on my person (per) well maybe not surprising to some of you guys ;)

Removed the color so you guys wouldn't have to deal with my garish green, red and yellow wallet. Especially since pretty much everything else in the photo is grey, silver, or black.

Shetchbook (bag)
G4 12" Powerbook (bag)

Wallet (bag)
Car/House keys (bag)
Leatherman screwdriver bit set (bag)
Venus 2.5" USB 2.0 HD Enclosure with 80GB 7200rpm drive. (bag)
Leatherman Wave (bag)
Work keys (per)
-Swisstech swisskey (keychain)
-Byrd Finch (keychain)

Again ? :D
Wallet, mobile phone, keys (when not in room), Leatherman New Wave, Fenix E1 (which is astonishing, it confuses everyone who sees it :p ) and a Spyderco Delica II or Cricket (mostly Cricket though, weapons law in Belgium is very confusing these days).

Right now, it is the strider H.S. Karambit on left front appedix on right, it is the knealy PTK knife. Right rear cargo pocket just behind the right pocket is my gunting. Right front pocket is a Taurus 38 in a mika pocet holster. Right thigh cargo is two speed loaders. Left thigh pocket is a BM auto stryker 9100. I am at home right now, when I head out later the karambit will give way to my Kabar kukri. Forgive me folks, I am beginning to sound like the Doc :) LOL!!!!!

I know. But adding * to the front and back count as characters so the system allows the search. Try it.

Scorpious SS part serrated, E2D Surefire, .357 Magnum S+W [hope they change the laws soon but not much chance of that] speed loaders and 100 rounds of ammo, First aid kit, maps for city county and state, 72 hours of food, water and medicine, cell phone and charger, local non-911 emergency phone numbers [911 doesn't always work or give a hoot] 30 years of experience and never less that 1/3 tank of gasoline in the vehicle. Been shot, stabbed and had grenades thrown at me - I'm still here. Travel safely. ;)

As for myself, it's been the "other cricket" namely my reverse "S"
MeerKat.

A note for folks that still want one : do a google.com search for
"Spyderco MeerKat" and you'll find several reputable dealers that
have a few left, even in the reverse "S".

AET :D
