Hey just got back from a hunt in AK and thought I'd share some experience with the FB01.
The knife performed great for skinning and general moose-disassembly tasks (used on quantity 2). Had to touch up blade several times on the 204 to return to razor sharpness. But knife did hold an edge great and sharpened relatively easily.
Materials for the blade, handle and sheath are optimum for AK wet conditions. Handle really is set up nice for heavy use - comfortable to use and good traction while wet.
There were three of us working at a time and the FB01 ended up in everyones hands at some point in time due to the fact of the great handle and the fact it was the sharpest of the knives being used. Ownership rights had to be explained a couple times!
Only complaint about the FB01 was about the choil area. When choking up on the blade, we all tended to get nicked from the blade at the choil area.
