I've shown my Glock 30 on several occasions. Today I purchased the 30's big brother, the Glock 21.

Nice photos, Zen! I've recently been bitten by the "Glock Bug!" I purchased a 27 for CCW, and was so impressed with it, I bought a 23. :o Do you peruse GlockTalk ever? Good bit of information, although not with the good, family feel of this wonderful forum! I'll have to snap some photos of the group when I get around to it.

Who here has 'got some Glocks?' Let's see some photos!

Nice pick up Zen. I had the 21 for a little while but sold it to a buddie. We hit the range together almost every weekend so I still get to shoot it. :) Now you just need yourself a G38!

Nice pics Rock! I think I will avoid the 45 Gap only as I don't need yet another caliber to worry about. I've been eyeing the 9mm long slide though for its high accuracy potential. http://www.glock.com/g17l.htm

Hi Eric John, I haven't been to Glock Talk for a long time. I just heard two seperate loads of 5000 Glocks "fell off the truck" or were hijacked on the way to either Afghanistan or Iraq...

Very nice zen!

I don't own any tupperware at the moment, seeing that Sig Sauer and Spyderco have drained my accounts.

Thanks Zen, I was trying to remember what my 21 used to look like :D As soon as I find a place where I can lay mine out for a picture without freaking out my neighbors, I'll post one. It may have to be an aerial photo...

Well they didn't have the Sig I wanted, so I had to "settle" for the 21. ;)

Maybe we should go to a Glock forum and start a "Who wants a Pink Glock?" thread...we could explain it would be more sheeple friendly... :D

hahah, I think you hit the nail on the head. I have a small amount of time so unless something really intrigues me, I don't post. I just have a soft spot for the Kopa and any Glock product.

Very nice Zen. Nice pictures. That G21 looks like a handfull!! Glocks may not be the prettiest gun on the block, but I like them because they just about everything and go bang every time I pull the trigger. That is a mighty good feeling.
EricJohn, I also have a G27 and love it. I traded my G23 for it. Someday, I would like to get a G23 again. It is a sweet gun.
Hey Rock, it is good to see you post! I miss you around here! When did you get the 9mm. It is a nice gun. Fast double taps with that one. Nice pictures.

Take care, Ron

When the time is right (I have enough money) I'm going to get me a hand gun. I've been looking at Baby Eagles. Just not sure if I want the .40 or .45 I know I don't want the 9mm....

Hi Ron,
I have short fingers  but the 21 is fairly big. For hand comfort/ergos in a .45 pistol, the Browning design still reigns supreme, IMO. However, I really enjoy the Glock trigger, tank-like durability, and simplicity of operation. Besides, I really dig shooting this caliber. :D One of my friend's has the Glock 36 (the single stack baby sized .45) and we all agree it is harder to shoot it properly than my model 30 (likely due to increased weight reducing recoil, etc.) I anticipate even more control with the full size.

Realistically the .40 sized pistol is probably a better match for me, and I enjoy the fact that a simple barrel change allows me to shoot the .357 Sig ammo in the same gun. In fact I was shopping for the Model 229 Sig in .40 when I bought the Glock...they just didn't have the specific 229 I wanted. http://www.sigarms.com/Products/ShowCat ... oductid=85 They also didn't have the new Sig rifle http://www.sigarms.com/Products/ShowCat ... ductid=114 as the dealer claimed all the models were shipped to Afghanistan for "field testing". ;)

Hiya Snuff, I don't know anything about Magnum Research, but the shape of the pistols appears to be like the Browning Hi-Power. If the guts are the same, chances are it is a good pistol.

Snufaluff- I've heard good things about the Magnum Research Eagle series pistols. I had a good friend in college who rented one at a range one time, and he said it was a very accurate gun. They seem to be well-built, although they also seem to have a lot going on externally- I would potentially be concerned with a snag during a stressful draw. I'm sure that practice-practice-practice could overcome this, though. If you pick one up, let us know what you think.

I too have heard good things about the Baby Eagles. They are based on the CZ-75, which has been a fine, reliable pistol for a long time, but they are built heavier than the CZ. Personally, when I drag out a Magnum Research product, it's my Desert Eagle .44 Mag. :D Love that shooter! :D
