I have a SS plain Rookie and think its great Im also thinking about ordering a SS Delica,
What are the main differences and your thoughts on both these two blades?
Thanks
Clint
HELP! what is the difference???
Hi Clint,
I can't compare to the Rookie, as I don't have one, but I have a SS Delica Plain and it's most carried knife.
The size is perfect for my needs - I've carried everyday fro 2 years in a corporate environment.
The weight is perfect, not too heavy, but easily opens with a flick of the wrist.
I'd give it a 9.5/10.

G'day Clint,
Looks like this is an all Aussie thread <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>.
One point to note is the different blade steels used in these models. I believe the Rookie is ATS-55 whereas the Delica II is AUS-6. The latter is more corrosion resistant than ATS-55 but is not as hard and therefore will not hold an edge as long.
Why not look at the Calypso Jrs? The stainless model uses AUS-8 but the FRN version has a VG-10 blade and is flat ground as well. If you like the finger choil on your Native you are bound to like the Calypso Jr.

Don't worry that the world might end tomorrow, in Australia it's tomorrow already.
