Spyderco on CSI:NY

The bad guy on CSI:NY used a long serrated Spydie with SS handles on CSI tonight. Too bad it was a bad guy and not a good guy like on NCIS which I think is the better show.

I was about to change the channel when I spotted the :spyder: . I was very excited to see that it was the SS police model. I'm not sure but I thought that it was the PE version.

In the segment that I saw, the bad guy was using the knife to threaten a girl. I was glad to see a Spydie portrayed in such a good light

Yea, my wife gets really annoyed when I point out which Surefire light they are using (this is normally CSI Las Vegas, and they use M4's!!! I am sure the dept would go broke on batteries... Frankly most of the time they could just open a window, since it is daytime... And at 225-300+ lumens I am sure they will go blind in time. )

Now I got to point out a knife!!! She was very unimpressed. At least it was not a Civilian...

Why do people worry more if you argue with your voices than if you just talk with them? What about if you lose those arguements?
Slowly going crazy at work... they found a way to make the voices work too.

Well said Mark, I always wondered why they didn't open the window

Is this the episode with the cable car / tram and a girl falls out? or is there another episode coming up (I guess I am abit behind over here) I need to watch even closer! :D
Every thing here is Spyderific! My new word meaning 'great like spyderco'

Thanks Sal and everyone at BritishBlades.com for the UKPK :spyder: :)

I want a fully serrated UKPK :) Please Sal

Back when it was on the air, there was a positive use of a :spyder: knife on Buffy, The Vampire Slayer. In one episode, musical equipment was being set up. One of the thick wires got frayed and had to be cut. Oz took out a Delica, and easily took care of it. :)

Okay, not as exciting as what happened on CSI, but far more positive!

My wife actualy asks "what your not going to rewind it" when A knife comes on and I dont go back with Tivo to see what it was. The only time I don't go back is when I can tell the first time it wasn't a Spydie. I will see that one soon as I have a "season pass" for all 3 CSI's and am just a bit behind.

Ha, I remember that episode of Buffy from like grade 6.. I'm 20 now. That scene has always stuck in my mind though, and I've always had my suspicions it was a Spyderco. I remember thinking Oz is a bit of a shady character when he whipped it out so calmly... Funny how semi-famous people and knives stay in your head like that. I wasn't even interested in knives that young.. Moreso firearms.
P.S: Stainless serrated Police... My EDC and one of the best Spydies ever.
