first the bad, i don't like how close the spyder hole is to the handle when closed. for me it makes it rather hard to open in any one handed method other than the drop. that concludes the "bad"
the good, it's sharp as **** (any surprise there?). i personally really dig the arrow shape and the false edge along the top. i would gather it makes some pretty serious stabbing cuts. this is my second FRN handled spydie and also my first "volcano" textured one. i like the light weight nature of the material as well as the solid feel it has. the blade sits well in my hand although holding it in any method other than what i believe is refered to as "the hammer grip" is very uncomfortable due to the hollows in the handle for fingers.
overall a very nice knife (again, any surprise there?) and a **** fine deal at less than 40$.
oh and one last thing.... Golden Colorado Earth i love that.
