SpyderComb

Post by toothed »

I don't know if this was suggested (and probably laughed at) before but I would like a SpyderComb--a folder with a metal comb opened with a Spydie hole. Naturally, it would also come with a reversible clip. Any comments? I remember aluminum combs being sold a few years ago but can't find any available today. The SpyderComb would "kick-it-up-a-notch!" (Sorry Emeril).

Toothed,

Very creative. I like your idea. I would add my own prefernce for switchblade-type opening<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>.

Take care,

I remember years back people carring switchblades which infact had a metal comb inside which shot on out, those things where pretty nifty, I like your idea.

A Guntingtized comb would be even cooler...but just a steel toothed comb would be a nice self-defense item, the perfect detangler.

How about cutting some comb teeth into a Rescue C14BK?

Well, I'd like to order up an auto comb shaped like my favorite knife, the Civi. Oh and make it a colored carbon fiber like green and black. And then put in a hidden dyad blade for self defense when all the wild vixens start chasing me because I've finally combed my hair for once in my life. Stop me! This topic really got me dreaming.

I have seen switchblade combs and they are fun to play with and also to scare the crap out of people! A balisong comb would be awesome! (pulling a switchblade comb on someone is pretty funny unless they have a real switchblade and think the one you pulled on them is too! oxxxxx[,,,,,,,,,,,

This is a fun topic; a lot of interesting responses. Br44, you are a funny dreamer, I like your reply.

For the record, I was only kidding about the switchblade-type action. When I read the original post I pictured this contraption in my head and it made me laugh. It jogged a good old memory in my mind. It was probably a consortium of memories, but the one that stands out is an old enticing/entrancing black and white advertisement in the back of Boy's Life magizine for a similiar product.

Y'all take care,

stu
