what will your next spydie be?

#1

Post by hrdwrguy »

This is not your top ten, your wish list, or any list of any kind. This is a simple question about your organization of priorities. Simply put what is the next spyderco knife that you will buy, realistically, with your budget and so on. I am curious what the cheap within budget or practical purchases around here will be, especially with the 2006 line coming up. I am a poor starving college student with all the financial constraints that entails so I am always interested in "cheap," non wishful thinking, kinds of buys.

I can safely say that the next I will buy is the 80mm Manix when it comes out and then a long dry spell for saving money.

What about the rest of you?

I have a centofante III on the way. But that was a trade.

No way I can tell what I'll purchase next. Probably a manix. I'll buy one when the mini manix comes out, I think there will be a price drop.

delica 4 or manix 80mm depending which comes first
if they take to long i might have to get a centofante III to tide myself over
never even considered it before but over the last few weeks it has just grown on me

:spyder: I need a poliwog, I don't want it, I need it. Then a mini manix. :spyder:

Well, that depends on whether the Forum knife arrives before the Kumo becomes available in my neck of the woods. Either way, I win big time :D . Still can't make up my mind about the Poliwog, but a mini manix is definitely coming my way when it makes its debut at my local retailer.

I will have to echo what many others are going with....Mini Manix. That should be just the perfect sized spydie for every day use to tide my addiction over!

Shoot...I forgot about the Mini Persian coming out. Well I have to modify my post up there, the Mini Persian will come before the Mini Manix.

Orange Rescue. I didn't have an orange handled knife yet. I will decide about the new models when they become available. There are just too many I would like to have eventually.

how do you want to be remembered today?

I have my eye on a Spydie Lum Tanto fixed blade right now. I'm not big on fixed blades as folders fit my uses better, but the price is right, so I'll probably pick it up either this week or next. :)

I think it will be the FRN Endura 4. It's very close to what I was hoping for, a FRN Police ;) Can't wait to regrind it to full flat grind :D
