Stupid question ?

The most acronyms you all use I can make something from. But what on earth means LOL? I have been trying to figure it out for about 2 months now.
Thanks in advance..

My Dear Friend Spydutch,

LOL - laugh out loud
YMMV - your mileage may vary
IIRC - if I remember correctly
IMHO - in my humble opinion (also IMNSHO - in my not so humble opinion)
ROTF - rolling on the floor - (also ROTFLMAO - rolling on the floor laughing my @$$ off)

These cover some of the more frequently used ones. :D Enjoy!

Great thread Spydutch. Maybe it should have been named "acronym database" ;) . Even though I easily figured out the "lol" (probably because I am American), I too have trouble sometimes with others not previously mentioned on this thread.
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.
