'm expecting the arrival of a pair of Al-handled Salsas with the ambidextrous clip. Is it possible to swap the ATS-34 blade from the Ti-handled model for the AUS-8 of the Al model?
I like the Ti handled model, as it is, but I really want the clip on the other side. I've considered grinding a "pocket" for one of the FRN clips, but have no experience grinding Ti. Ideas regarding converting the clip on the Ti also appreciated.
The reason that we didn't machine the Ti model for left hand carry was becuase we thought the machined part would come close to the integral lock-spring. You could probably do it carefully with a dremel. wear a mask & eye cover.
