CO4 Executive ?
CO4 Executive ?
I was just looking at the history page and noticed this knife as one of the early Spydies. I feel bad as I don't think I have ever seen one. Anyone have one, that they could send me a picture of. My brain is really twitching over this. Thanks for the help. I guess if I had the poster with all the discontinued models, my brain wouldn't feel like this.
Hey Treb I will see if I can post a pic of mine. My Executive was actually my first spyderco, been carrying it for years. But now with all my new carry pieces it doesn't get as much use. I carry a plain edge and have a spyderedge on my display board. It was a great size to carry in dress pants and yet still be stainless.

Yes this was a nice sized knife. One of my favorites was the variation of the Executive called the "Spur". It was a mutation of the Executive and the Pro-Grip. It had the rubber inlay on the Executive handle with a blade akin to the Pro-Grip (drop point with 60/40 Spyder/plainedge)(or was it 50/50?).

Here's a quote from The Spyderco Story to give you something to dream about: <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
"Thirty of the C04-Executive models were inlaid with dinosaur bone and given to Spyderco employees and suppliers."
Dribble, dribble, drool. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Don't worry that the world might end tomorrow, in Australia it's tomorrow already.
