Aloha All Of You!

Okay, I wasn't gonna post anything about this, but I think i have to because a lot of you could play a BIG part in a MAJOR turning point in my life...

Spyderco is currently making an all steel prototype of one of my folder designs! (YEAH!)They will be bringing it to shows to see how it "stands on its own." Now, if it generates interest, it's headed for the assembly line.

Here's where I need your help. Aside from praying for me and my folder, IF you hear of any knife shows that the Spydermen may be attending IN YOUR AREA, PLEASE go and check out my folder.

Me living in Hawaii makes it hard to attend the shows in the states, plus, i don't think my input would count! LOL!

PLEASE, attend the shows the Spydermen will be at if at all possible, and handle my folder. You will appreciate it's attributes. then give it a good word to further its cause! I have NO doubts my folder will do well for two reasons: 1: It has God's blessing. 2: it is a Spyderco knife! BUT, hearing feedback from you all in person at these shows will only accelerate its way to the production line!

ALL of you already play a big part in my life like i stated in an earlier post...you guys help me to "let go" of my 8+hrs. working as a Corrections Officer...So please, I ask that if you guys can help me out(again)by attending the shows, please do so. Prayers are appreciated also!

Mahalo to all of you and the application of John 16:24 works. THIS is the proof!

God bless you all and thanks.

Chad

PS: Again, Sorry Sal!

God will put you over...if you let Him! Mark 11:23!

Chad

There certainly aren't any knife shows around here that the staff would ever attend with their prototypes, so I can't help much there. But, good luck and I hope your design generates a great response in those who do get a chance to see it!

Aloha Daywalker...

Man, I am speechless! I had no idea you were doing this kind of thing. I'm excited about this. Is Hawaii big enough for you and Onion?

I will be at BLADE Atlanta in June. Will the proto be done by then??? I'll be looking for it, will handle it, and will be talking it up.

I've been before, but can't remember if cameras are allowed. If they are, I'll be taking some photos of it in the booth.

Good Luck & prayer's sent.
Pômaika`i!
(Hope I did that right)

Chad,

I wish you the best on your venture!

I probably won't get to see the proto in person, but I look forward to seeing some pics. I'll definitely check out a production model when they ship.

I believe John 13:34, if we all care for each other as we claim we do, will see that

Well Chad, you know I'm in your corner on this venture. I just hope there are some shows here in the Northeast where it will be displayed, as I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

Daywalker,

Helu `ekahi! Kamaha`o! Kilohana!

See that old guy in your far right corner and the scruffy looking dog? Those are both javas. Kick the dog once for an "Amen!". Kick the old man for shaka.

As KI gave Spyderco The Best Best Overall Knife of 2003 for the Dodo, I expect to see Sal; Sal and Eric; Joyce, Sal, and Eric, Joyce, Sal, Eric and Travis; or some permutation thereof with a Spydayerwalker proto in September at the Spirit of Steel. Of course if Sal and/or company would appear at the Central Texas Show in August that would slake my thirst to see your work even sooner. Best best to you, Chad, and may God bless.

Mahalo

Hi Chad
You are in my prayers; waiting is something that takes patience, grace and trust. I hope your faith strengthens all of these in you. I always believe that if God wants this for you, then it will happen. Like many of the others, I have no blade show near me, but I will be looking forward to pictures when they are available. God be with you at this time -

Chad

I wondered what you've been hinting at for some time! Best of luck from the UK! It sounds like a great little knife.

Chad, my friend, I keep my fingers crossed for you. Too bad I won't be able to attend those knifeshows but I'll pray for you, it's the least I can do.
