OT Free knife at K Mart

#1

Post by J Smith »

I got a free pearing knife at K Mart today by listening to a guy give a sales pitch on the crapy things.A older man and myself kind of made him mad by talking about knife steels and the crap steel that was in these knives while he was talking. We had a good laugh after it was over.He did still give us the POS pearing knife though,I will put it in the kichen for my wife to destroy.

I really need to get her one of the carveing knives that Spyderco has on sale.

Let me guess-

It was one of those famous ginsu knives or maybe one of the sportsman's dream...Heck man you got a piece of gold there, can't they cut brick, tile, chain and still peel a pear????

I got an idea. Put it up for sale on e-bay and see how much you get for it...

yep, the "superknife" POSes... I've gotten 2 freebie paring knives off em for watching the promos. The seller didn't like me the 2nd time, I did the cucto trick, and brought out the serrated endura and cut everything but the hammer, and they were all better cuts with mine.

Super cool VW <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> I was always wondering about those "Miracle blades" that feature in the TV commercials here...

like I said though, the only thing I don't cut is the hammer, but my metal file on the leatherman could do that. I'm sure I could do a few strokes with the endura but would be a ***** to sharpen.
