Black FRN Delica in 2007. The C11PSBK is the saber ground, combo edge model.
Kind of same here, just the later Delica 4 version (but also sg and comboedge).

Almost never carry it anymore in a regular EDC context (where I prefer ffg and full SE, which means Salt 2...), but still love it as a brutal hard use folder.

I think some still don't fully realize what that true sabre grind blades can take, even more than the sabre hollow grind options of for example the H1/H2 models.
Especially in the by far most "vulnerable" part of the blade when it comes to actual breaking, the tip, my sabre grind Delica is superstrong.
But, as touched upon above, slicing and fine piercing performance suffer a bit in return.

Nice!

Mine was Delica 4 too. I don’t have it anymore due to a hairline crack in the blade and warranty replacement with a green ffg Delica 4. By that point (2016-2018), I had gotten tired of VG-10, so I gifted it to my older brother, who uses it every day and for everything.

My first Spydie was the Tenacious, about 13-14 years ago. Back then it was the go-to reccomendation for a decently sized, somewhat budget knife. And it was a great blade, served me well, though I moved onto more exotic materials.

Thinking really hard about getting the M4 one to experience it anew

I believe my first :bug-red-white was a Spyderco Baby Horn, and I believe I got it from an A.G. Russell catalog long ago. It was a neat little knife, but the blade tip was somewhat exposed when closed, thus it spent more time poking my fingertips than being used. After multiple finger pokes every time I put my hand in my pocket, I finally retired it.

My first practical :bug-red-white that was a pleasure to EDC was a Spyderco Endura FRN Black SE with the integral clip. That was a fun knife up until I foolishly misplaced it.

Centofante (can’t remember exactly which model) in AUS-8 with a liner lock and combo edge. Haven’t been able to find a picture but it was from the late 90s/early 2000s?

Odd. I don't remember the Centofante coming in AUS-8. All my liner lock Centofantes (C25 and C50) are ATS-34.

My first Spyderco was an AUS8 Delica with wide molded clip, around 1990.

You’re correct. ATS-34. Brain fart. Been a long time since I’ve seen it (lost during a move).

A first gen SE Endura i had to import from the USA to Europe. The owner of the gun store still remembers me to this day as the guy who imported Spyderco knives in the beginning of the 90´s. Saw the add in "Guns and Ammo".
I wore that knife as a cop for 10 year.
Still have it.

Waved Endura 4. It was intended to just be one, ended up the first of many.
