Any word on Para 2 production status?

OH MY!

I just got my Para 2 CF S90V and it is incredible! I don't know how, but it's even an improvement on the Black G-10 Para2. The lock is even smoother, the lock tab is moved up slightly to allow for better leverage. The blade now swings free just like the Para 1. And it's beautiful!

I am even happier with it than expected. I can't imagine this knife ever leaving my right front pocket. Fantastic job on this Spyderco! Amazing! :eek: :D

I figured the change in the lock was quite possibly an additional reason the standard Para 2 production halted, I know Spyderco said it was just due to work load but can't help but think this also had a part in it? Guess we will see if the standard Para 2 returns to the market with this new lock design. I suppose it also benefited sales of the CF with the standard not being available.

Agreed. But, I do not think the sales of the CF version needed to be benefited! Too bad the standard version was not readily available prior, to satisfy some of the demand.

Reads just like how my S90V/CF is smoother than my S30V/G-10.
