No it isn‘t, comparing Iraq, 3rd world countries, and the White House to everytown USA is way off. Court houses and other government buildings, while also not a fair comparison, have seen their share of violence even though there are armed guards stationed there.

Ok you're right, places with less weapon control are safer ;) . I'm not goimg to sit here and argue with you. But it's funny you mention hypocricy,"Miami used to be the worse, but has dropped off since Florida passed their CCW bill ". That's my point LESS LAWS=MORE VIOLENCE & MORE LAWS=LESS VIOLENCE. Your own statement prooves my point, thanks. This thread is about kids having knives at school, right. If you think its OK, then do it. I'll visit ya in jail ;) . My only point was that KIDS should not bring weapons to school. If you dissagree, fine. Bigotry & Racism from "As far as a School function You should not need a weapon. If you do, better move." Uhhh, sorry but I don't see it. Anyway, you're right instead of fist fights we should all bring our knives to school and have knife fights. Maybe you get beat up alot & feel the need to carry a knife in school,I don't know. Have fun with your knife fights.

No Copilot, you did fine. Consider this a lesson. Recognize what has happened here as the face of those who would oppose “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”. They’ll use everything from lies, subterfuge, deception, and when that doesn’t work they’ll resort to demagoguery and personal attacks in an attempt to wear you down into submission., while at the same time feigning concession to accomplish the same. They have a personal, political agenda, and won’t let anything like truth, facts, common sense, and safety get in the way of accomplishing that end. Their idea of freedom is a utopian concept that, when put into place only accomplishes the type of freedom experienced by peoples like the Russians under Communist rule. To back down under such pressure only accomplishes their Godless means for them. Remember, it's all about them controlling other people. They don’t care that their ideals, when put into place, only place you at greater risk. They are more interested in controlling you. In truth, these people are nothing more than bullies, you can either let them bully you, or stand up to it.

Some people have been so deceived in to believing such tripe that they don’t realize they’ve been duped. Others are just willing participants in that deception.
First they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not stand up, because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Buddy, I didn't mean to offend you. But,you prooved one of my points with your own statement! Again, you're right, I'm totaly against "Life, Liberty, & pursuit of Happiness" because I don't think KIDS should bring weapons to school. Ghost, if a person carries a knife around I certainly have NO problem with it ( I carry one almost everywhere.) You make it sound as if I'm anti-everything. All that I am saying is there is no reason a KID needs, nevermind you will never get that point through you're head. You can send your kid to a school where everyone walks the halls with weapons, that's fine. I'll take the School with no weapons. Wich one do YOU think will have less crime. I'll take the latter. NOW PLEASE, YOU CHOOSE. ;) . Bet you don't.

BlackNinja,
Your arguments aren't even honest, so there's really not point in continuing this discussion. Furthermore, I didn't prove your point, but since you can't be honest about it, I doubt it really matters to you.

P.S.
No offense taken. :)

That's your quote ,right. Doesn't that say that after the Bill was passed their was less crime? Stop the hypocricy. ANSWER, PLEASE? What School do you want to send your child to? ;)

Just out of curiosity Copilot, Have you ever talked to your father about any of this. Not that I'm trying to sound sanctimonious or anything, and I don’t know what kind of relationship you have with him (although if he gave you a Spyderco that’s a good start), but it sounds like your going through some things that maybe he should know about. They might even be things that your friends, or just concerns you have.

At my old school (9-10 building) nearly every month someone brings in a knife. Once some one even bruaght in a rip off Vaquero Grande. Somehow, I dont think the law stopped them from getting them in. They where caught for dealing drugs from the lockers.

I have not used my knife in school. But ofcourse thats cause i dont advertise a knife and how important i am with one(if the silver wireclip isnt advertising itsself on black pants) I am a responsible teen, which may be rare in america but in canada im not looked at as a threat just cause i dont want to depend on someone to supply the tools i need. in school a rule is COME PREPARED. it would be alot different if at lunch time me and my friends were throwing khukris. I am a wog and am here to help others in need and that is why i carry a knife ill empty my pockets/pouches gladly infront of anyone, i have nothing to hide for everything i have is a usful thing and doesnt get flashed around driving attention toward me. Its all about your image, if your walking around with a trench coat and only have a huge as knife then yah u prolly have it for defence or to intimidate people. Me i have kit all around my body and even in my back back i carry an AWOL kinda thing its an ammo can with a german fixed blade a fire starter a radio/walkie talkie a book a note pad(graphpaper) tooth brush all the things i would need if i can not return to my home. i just wanted to say that i know u guys kinda went on a political stand there but im just a kid with everyday tasks and dont think i need someones help to do so. "this is a knife, a knife is essential for a vareity of reasons knives are for cutting, people cut things every day think about how many things u cut on a day to day basis if u can not use knives that are provided for u to use what if u didnt have those knives u have to provide your own" http://www.darkatlas.com !!!!
