My Delica wharncliffe made short work of a number of boxes for the recycling bin. The Delica continues to impress me with how good a cutter it is. Thanks to Spyderco for this tool!

Every time I see your ARK in action it reminds me to carry mine more often!

I used my Maxamet PM2 Seconds to open 100 bags of mulch. Never skipped a beat despite being dragged through all sorts of wood and I'm sure dirt and grit in the bags.

Pacific Salt cut up some cheese and salami while I watched the sunset on the Atlantic.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Last week while undercover and preparing to do a secret dead drop of critical information in the woods I saw a group of 6 possibly 8 black clad ....looked like CCP plain-clothes-men, 100 feet and approaching fast, headed right toward me!
I quickly angled my left shoulder toward the group, made the dead drop, stepped the Chinese CHIP package into the ground, and drew a Spyderco Native Chief in S90V to my right hip. They did not see the draw! Did they see the dead drop? I could feel the closed blade in my hand. I felt impregnable.
I had smuggled the Chinese CHIP out and was delivering it to the NSA. This was the drop off point.
The group walked past without a word....
Always carry a Spyderco Native Chief when conducting espionage operations. You life may depend on the knife that you carry.

Me: Pac Salt. Cut some pepperoni earlier, then a ba-nay-nay, cucumber, and cilantro to go into lunch. Cut a slab of butter to go into my very boujee after dinner instant decaf coffee, w/ a dash of cinnamon. Cut the plastic ring off the top of a water bottle.

I suspect ChatGPT was used here.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
used the roadie to peel stickers for few hours this morning. the task was terrible, but the tool was a great little companion. much safer and better than the manix i tried to do this with last week.

side note: as much as i enjoy the wharncliffe shape, this job would've been impossible with my yojimbo, which i also carried today. this is why i always have multiple blades on me.

Yeah, that is the one con of a Wharncliffe that I run into. Scraping with the edge on a flat surface.

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
i was thinking of you when scraping these stickers off. i believe i told you that i never do that kind of task, but apparently, that's not true anymore. even the very slightest belly that is present on the roadie made it possible.

That surely has to be among the most critical and noble uses for any knife.
Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Spent the past five days solo camping & hiking just west of Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. On a whim, I elected to bring a Street Bowie instead of either the Schempp Rock or the Becker BK7 (my usual go-to fixed-blade options for multi-day camping). I just wanted to go with something smaller & lighter this time around.
I have to say, it worked out better than I expected. It handled batoning really well (surprised at how well the TiCN held up after turning a dozen logs into kindling), along with the usual food prep & camp utility chores.

Cut up mushrooms, onions, and chicken for a creamy pasta dish. While it’s no secret that I love the pm2 ergos and blade shape a lot, the only time I ever crave more usable edge length is when cutting up stuff in the kitchen.
I think the upcoming military2 will be excellent in this regard. Or perhaps the Kapara, still need to try one of those.

Replaced my TOTO toilet seat - the one with SOFT CLOSE with BOTH the seat and the cover. I POPPED the plastic lids open to get to INSTALL the large plastic screws and special lock nuts on the bottom....
It was a tight fit - the replaced seat had a bigger area where a small small screw driver would have fit. The POINT of the Paramilitary 2 15V was perfect - kinda of a funny thing to mention BTW - toilet seat and all.
Best wishes to all...
Now when do those new MULE TEAMS come out???
