I started today, with a Spyderco mule team 16. CTS-XHP..
Image

I'm sharing here first, because I feel a Huge part of it was my experience over the last 8yrs in modifying crawler stuff..

The belly in the handle was uncomfortable, to me, to say the least..
Then I made it to exactly what I wanted, to fit my hand and my wants, for it.
I took influence from a Spyderco Stretch and Sage 5
Image
It fits Amazing!!
ImageImageImage
Then I grabbed some G10 I had bought for a different project..
Image
I used wheel spacers and 3m button heads, from 2.2 crawler wheels..
Image
Layered it and started shaping..
ImageImageImageImage
Finished and I can wait to get to use it!!!

Nice! I’d love an orange-handled pac-Salt. Love the clips too. Did you polish the one on the spyderhawk, or was it like that after stripping paint?

*eyeballing my Salt 2*
I'm pretty sure you could do a blade swap between the two, and I'm sure you'd have no problem finding someone who wants a black Spyderhawk. I'm probably going to dye mine that color sometime down the road.

I was planning to dye the Spyderhawk black, but I kind of like the way the orange scales go with a black blade, clip and lock bar. Maybe I'll keep those scales orange after all.

You modded Old Faithful! Not going to lie, though. It looks awesome.

Wasn’t happy with the clip point previous mod, so here’s the final mod of this Stretch. 3” blade.

A little more off the front and you’ll have a worker 2.0

You’re right. Actually, I’m really liking it. Very useful shape. You can get in and around with that tip.
