Not enough
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

Around 100. Hope to get back down to 30 - 40 some day.

Have 8 custom knives and expect to get more.

I'm rather surprised I'm in the top half of this thread so far.

Been collecting Spydercos for 14 or 15 years and I currently have 58.

35 folders
2 ladybugs
5 fixed blades
16 mules

You don't by any chance have a picture gallery of them all or a list of the variations with SKUs? The Q is what got me into Spyderco back in 1997 or '98 and I would like to update the Spydiewiki with a list of known variants/SKUs.

I've bought around 30 - 35 (some were other brands) in the past 6 years. Of course I started out wanting to get one nice knife that would hold an edge for a long time. :) In the past year I've traded and sold many of them and here is what I have kept. I only use knives and have no desire to own what I won't use.

Here are the Spyderco's I have now:
Chaparral
Sage1
Gayle Bradley
Jester
Terzuola
Manix2 (M4 blade)
Bug
SpydeRench

The only one I never use is the Bug. I guess I wasted $4.30. :) It will shave my arm though. The others are a PERFECT set of EDC and/or work knives for my needs.

Non-Spyderco's I like:
Ka-Bar BK-11
Cold Steel Mini-Lawman (I had carbide tungsten welded to the edge on this knife. Still working with it to determine how I like it.)

I'm sure it was worth every penny. The way our economy is going, I'd rather have the knives then hold the same amount in dollars.

I have benn collecting for quite some time now. 172 total, 48 are Enduras. I am picky about what I collect, so I do not own any I do not love. That says alot for Spyderco. Take care. John.

Three hundred and something -- many models plus variants... That's just Spyderco. :D Please, no one do the math.
