I would love to see a Jester come out in a Delica size. Love the blade shape on that knife. Just like a baby ATR.

Why would anyone want a Jester? That is just juggling and joke telling.

I'd love one in a micarta or even the new limited D4/E4 brown FRN =)

Well they already made a micarta Jester, so I'd want something different. G-10 maybe, Fiber handle...

That would be great =) Or even an original ATR blade in the Stretch FRN handle?

I know different locks and a multitude of fitment issues...but dang that would be cool.

I've always felt that just changing handle colors on a knife is like palate swapping enemies in video games. So I'd love to see a totally re-designed Jester.

And there's where I'd part company with you. I think the original Jester was **** near perfect. A steel upgrade is about the only change I'd consider an improvement. Changing the size or shape would make it into something else and, whether that something was bad, or good, it would not be a Jester. As for handle materials, I don't see switching from micarta to CF or G-10 as any different than switching colors of micarta.

I like redesigns but the work needed always decreases the chance of being done. I assume the pipeline for Spyderco is jam-packed.

There are knives I wish would make a reappearance like Deacon said where steel may be the only thing needing an upgrade. I need a vg10/micarta mini knife BAD :) .

I am not looking for anything fancy. A vg-10 frn version reissue of the jester would be fine with me.

It would even be better in toxic green!!!! But I will take any jester reissue

I would leave micarta Jester size as is, just upgrade steel to VG10.
Regarding bigger Jester, I just would marry ATR blade with G10 superhawk handle. That would be one lovely knife.

I will add my name to the pile of people asking for just an upgrade in steel. It is a great little knife that is good at a lot of jobs. Giving it a better steel is all it needs to be an even better knife. I'll take whatever handle material is easier for Spyderco to make and get into my hands the fastest.

A Jester in carbon fiber and a higher end steel (anything from 154cm to s30v) would be the grail of keychain knives. I would also take g10 or micarta in a higher end steel but cf and good steel=perfect.

the deacon wrote:well, i probably have a several lifetimes supply of burgundy micarta ones, but a run of them in vg-10 with a different color micarta would be hard to resist. If the micarta was ivory or carmel, it would be totally irresistable.
