Hello,

I have been trying to find this knife, to buy, for a week now. I have decide to buy a knife and this is the one that I have decided on. Now I find that it has been discontinued and websites still say that they have it, but when I try and order it they say that it is out of stock. Getting pretty mad here LOL.

Any Suggestions?

I did a spyder drop yesterday with my mini Manix and the weight of the handle almost jerked the whole knife out of my hand, LOL :D I decided to stick to my FRN handled Spydies for that kind of opening technique.

I love my Manix and mini-Manix, but I haven't really put either one through any kind of hard use. It is comforting to know that they will hold up, though.

If it's the full size manix you want may I suggest KNIFECENTER. ;)

Is it safe to assume you mostly carry tip-down, then?

Manix Full Size and Mini Combo and Plain

#29

Post by louism7 »

I recently found a full size manix plain edge From Flames-n-knives.com I just received it Sat and it could have been their last one. I did visit a store in Metairie Louisiana last week called Alpine Clocks and Knives and they had 2 Mini Manix in the case one plain one combo and two full size manix One plain and one combo. I was also surprised to see The BG42 Spyderco Military they had 1 plain and one combo and they even had the Yojimbo and Dodo. I saw the Scorpius and the civilian and the Karambit. They had a Calypso with carbon fiber and ZDP189 .I noticed more than a handful of discontinued Spydies in the case. The two folks I dealt with were Nancy and Charles. I know what it was like to find the full size Manix recently and it was a quite a hunt they have almost disappeared from the market already. This is an awesome knife!!!
