They did the Manix. I believe they could build a knife as good as or better than a Strider. But if they do that it would cost $450.

BTW Striders are way over rated and way way over priced.

Thank God I'm not the only one!!

If you "need" a Strider, you need a fixed blade!

I disagree, being the Englander you are I am surprised you are not impressed with the Farid T-1000, I handled one and it was fixed blade like.

All of Farids stuff is well over built! I have never been taken with them, much for that reason.

Not convinced. Poor grasp of the native language, old boy! Student? Perhaps visiting Old Blighty for a term or two. Tally Ho!

It is a real shame because the samples I have handled have had some top class work put into them. And on one, the file work was exquiste.

I've never met the guy or seen a photo, but I've always imagined him to be 6'11" 350lbs of muscle and no neck! But loves his mom!!

I like my Spyderco's because they perform well and were available at an affordable price. Nothing is perfect, to seek perfection is to fail.

Mine has removable screws. The handle is fine, the sebbie has flat handles and no one complains. I like the satin finish on the blade much better than stone wash.

Maybe go with ti handles and make it a frame(integral) lock.
