The fact is somebody on a Soldires salary is not going to be carrying a $500+ knife, **** they dont even use knives anymore, there is no such thing as this tactical Knife usage scenerios you see On the INTERNET. There is No Knife fights in iraq, and if there was a Butter Knife would do the same thing as a Strider.
As I've mentioned before, several military units utilize and are even issued Striders.
MARSOC Det.-1 is issued the SMF Knife, Folding, Combat.

Also, Strider has produced thousands of DB-L folders that have a NSN issue number, which means they're cataloged in the TO&E. See if your relatives know what a TO&E is.

If there's no use for knives in Iraq (a retarded statement, if I've ever heard one), then why does Spyderco, along with dozens of other knife companies, send knives to our service personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as other war zones? Kinda shot yourself in the foot on that one (again).

Why don't you go back to where you used to post, in the other forums, and get banned a ninth (10th, 11th, 12th??) time?

Haha, Vincent's starting to get a little ticked off now isn't he?

If you reassemble your Sebenza incorrectly, it could have bladeplay. That's why CRK provides instructions on their site.

Also, I was referring to the fact that you said most children stay at home until they are twenty six. A 26 year old is not considered a child, anyone over 18 is considered an adult.

(Except..maybe, you.)

You seem excited, boy. What's the matter?

If you think I'm posting my credentials on this message board for your convenience.....well, you're even dumber than I imagined. Then again, that wouldn't shock anyone here.

I've established myself to everyone here who matters, and others know my bona fides. As I said, check out Carlos Hathcock III, and you'll get the background. Then, I'll answer any questions you'd like. Because, boy, I'm the real deal.

Not going anywhere JIM, bet ya didt think id get that one.

The Fact is is that I am not bashing CRK or strider, I do thogh strongly feel that they are not worth what they cost. yes somthing like a strider which is like a edged prybar is great and a great idea , but in no way is worth the price that they are sold. Even with Military discount they are still excessivly expensive. Not worth there price. I do carry a Buck 889 , but it is clearly only for tasks that i do not want to use my Para for. I have never soley carried the 889 as Its a POS of a knife but for prying and chopping its cheap and sort of effective. You guys can call me an idiot, it doesnt affect me at all. I dont get enjoyment from any of this, I have my views and I stick to them, Il never change my views, if you like what I say then thanks, if you dont then block and ignore me so you dont see my posts. While I dont know as much as the majoity of you on knives I do enjoy the subject and do enjoy reading and learning about them.

I find spyderco to make the best Knives, same way as I find Intel to make the best processors and Asus the best Motherboards. I support these companies because I know that they are the best, I dont need to use every other product to clearly make my decision, I can take other people in which I trust and use that information for the basis of my decision.

LOL these threads are hilarious :D I have poked my nose in too!

I thought it was a well known fact that forum arguments never end well or decisively. What are you guys arguing over anyway? Whether CRK's are good? whether the army uses knives? Why people are willing to pay $400 for a piece of sharp metal?

swallow your pride and let it go

Yeah at this point it seems one guy doesn't like a knife brand. Then there are some other guys who do. They all don't seem to be getting along to well. I personally like orange juice. Tropicana brand floats my boat.

I like Tang, it sustained me for the first 20 years of life. It is also a necessary ingredient in homemade Smoothies. Get the name brand though, store brands are what China is to most knives.

It's gotta be Orange Tang too, because apparently there were other flavor Tangs, but in my opinion, if it's not Orange, it's not Tang. ;)
