Well, our Sales manager, factory manager and Eric felt that adding another sprint into current Golden schedule would create issues with current deivery so it won't happen in Golden until maybe 2015. The next best opportunity is to try to squeeze a sprint into the Taichung factory. Selecting a model that they already make would be the most effective. thoughts?

I would love to see an Impala Gut Hook in K390 (don't remember if it was made in Taichung though...) I loved this as a working knife, just thought it might deserve an excellent steel

A K390 Nikakka would be at the top of my list. I'd buy that K390 Southfork in a heartbeat but still, K390 Nilakka please.

Caly 3 CF K390 w/ integral compression lock

That or the Caly 3.5......
......but I'm afraid that neither would work because I think that the Caly platform is limited to Japanese steels only and I don't believe that k390 fits that bill. Although a Caly 3.5 in K390 would be awesome! But I don't know about the lock though since that would be a whole new knife and not a Caly at all anymore.

IMO, it really would. There have been enough people who say it is good for food prep and how K390 is nice for food prep. I think PPT is good shaped for cardboard, too.
