One big advantage to a separate pry at is that you can pry with one hand while cutting with a knife held in the other hand. Kind of similar to the situation with a flashlight.

This idea is what the Cliptool with the bottle opener is.

It is similar. I was thinking of manix2xl, battlestation etc... more of a hard use situation. As Sal and others have said, its really not the easiest concept. Also it's kind of gimmicky, wouldn't be widely accepted, I accept that :) I do think the idea has merit among some and may offer more than just a pry bar. I.E. being able to remove the clip easily for extended cutting chores. Albeit the clip rarely bothers me, I do think it would be nice to remove it all together during extended use.

To me, having a Manix 2 XL with a pry bar attached and having a Manix 2 XL in my pocket and a Cliptool in my watch pocket is too small of a difference to give a lot of attention.

I love this lanyard. Is there a good instructional vid on how to tie lanyards like this (the one on the PM2)? I know it looks simple... But I've tried (and I've searched for videos), but my lanyards (other than crown sinnett) look like crap.

It could be a variation of this: Now that I look at it, it looks like he took out the inner strands, it looks somewhat hollow.
