Lock test video - interesting

I don't know if this proves much, but I know I still prefer lockbacks. Also, the Tenatious is a tough knife, I guess.

- best wishes, Jazz.

My Tenacious sure feels like a tough knife...for ~$40 it's a hard knife to beat. Makes a very near perfect beater/loaner knife.

Tenacious is not only very strong but also wiked (or i'm stupid). I cut a half of my thumb nail with it today. tt huuuurts so much, my bathroom sink was covered by blood... but i still love that blade. Just need to be more careful.

Cool video. Not sure that their sweeping statements of lock strength are very accurate but still cool to see. I would have liked seeing them take each knife to failure.

interesting test, I'm still and probably always will be a huge fan of the lockback.

Highly dumb...IMO Just no science there at all really. Just some random messing around really. I'd like to see something like this done properly. I think that it would be very interesting to see.

I agree that I would enjoy a more scientific test. Still the results are interesting.

There was a video on the DIY network of a visit to the Golden, Co factory in which you see a brief clip of spyderco's lock tester/breaker in action.
