Thought I'd share a pic of some of the fishies that swim around my parts. :)

Nicely done! Weather is keeping me from getting any fishing in lately.

Awesome! I want to go ice fishing someday...I have no idea why, but I do! :D

And there will be no "up-showing" today. Nope, I've got to eat a little humble pie instead. Yesterday I fished (trolling) for over an hour with a spoon and missed 5 or 6 bites before finally realizing the split ring had broken and I had no hook on my lure. :D

Luckily I landed a couple of little snapper before trying hookless fishing. I guess I could call the others "quick releases". ;)

Ice fishing is great, no need for a boat :p and usually you can catch a hungry bugger pretty quick. Only drawback, if you wanna call it that, is drilling the holes, the ice was about 4 feet thick there  makes for some good exercising!

Nice catch! It's been years since I've been out ice fishing. There's nothing quite like the taste of crappie caught through the ice. ;) Delicious!

On top of that, you don't have to worry about bringing along a cooler full of ice to haul the catch home in! :D
