I think the poll results and what most here are saying should give you a good idea about what to do.

Get the Green Para now while the prices are still relatively low..remember it was a 1200 piece exclusive so that will keep the prices relatively low for awhile but that want last forever. It will start to go up in value but due to the number made it will take a few years IMO.

The S110V Manix2 is a regular production knife so you if you want to buy it say a year from now when you have the funds it can be bought from any of the usual knife dealers at non-secondary market prices.

If you NEVER plan to buy the other, I'd go with the Manix. I'm blown away by mine and for $105 it's an amazing value. If you beat your knives the Para is gonna be stronger but I intend to use my Manix for everything but batoning/chopping/prying and I have no fear of it breaking.

somebody put three green paras for sale on BF for $220 shipped. they were sold in 15 minutes.
IMHO to buy used green para2 for what KW was selling for is already good deal, for which you will have to wait for a while, if you patient enough. Still keep your eyes open will never hurt. But may be it would be better to go with second option, but I am not sure, if M2 LW S110V is easy available. I kind of missed the boat and do not see any dealer, who has them in stock. I will wait.

My top choices Natives5, Calys, C83 Persian

I'm probably gonna get the Paramilitary 2, because the Manix's lockup is not as solid.

According to who?? my Para 2 20CP sprint has had side play from day 1, while none of my Manix 2s have ever developed any. I haven't really put the LWT Manix to work yet so it may loosen up with use but so far it's bank vault solid lockup.

Define "solid". Ergonomics and availability/price should be the deciding factors at this point. Both locks are VERY solid. Neither will ever fail unless you are severely abusing the knife. For example; the idiots on UTube doing spine whacks to test a lock and declaring it defective when it fails. What practical use for a folder would exert forces like that on the spine..? There are none.

The lockup on the LW Manix I had was bank vault solid. The lock on the Manix and paramilitary both use the same concept; a piece of metal wedged between the blade and a metal stop to keep the blade from closing. They are two of the best lock designs on the market and I trust both to hold up under duress.

Yeah, definitely impossible. Prices are still somewhat reasonable on this one for now, but they will start to increase and are not likely to come back down. If you ever want to buy one, they will never be cheaper than they are now.

The lockup on my S110V Manix2 is solid alright, too solid, the BBL is tough to disengage. Hoping it will loosen up with use. Might have to send it back to Spyderco if it doesn't loosen up..

The lock on the S90V Manix XL is like butter..

Gotta agree with that. Even this early after the run is completed and with the large number made anyone waiting for a BNIB Green Para2 for what KW sold them @ is most likely waiting for something thats not going to happen. I talked to KW a week or so ago and they said "no more Green Para2 will be made, that run is done".

If one BNIB comes available in the $180 to $200 price range I would grab it and not look back..

Now buying one used? That would be a possibility.

But I bet the chances of finding one that's (1) used and (2) for sale is probably less than zero? :D Just guessing.

I don't like the caged ball lock so I will always say Para.

Hard to go wrong with the Para2, even the S30V version.

Hehe... 70 green paras appeared out of thin air at KW @ $150 each... quick grab one (have to phone) before they are all gone!
