It really is. Nice an compact for the watchpocket on most jeans. Otherwise, I fold it into the open crease on my wallet when wearing khakis. Keeps it right where I want it.Holland wrote:I had no idea the Dyad was that small, nice photo

I'm pretty sure you have a C05 standard/economy, see this entry for more information: http://www.spydiewiki.com/index.php?tit ... y/StandardBlue Hawaii wrote:Here is my EDC knife. I've carried it in my right rear pocket since 1984 (maybe? I could be off a year of two in either direction). I wish I knew what model it is. Whenever I show it to anyone, they all say the same thing, "Man, that's an old Spyderco! What model is it?" I'm like, "der... I dunno!"
Anyone?

The Economy I believe. I think it was the more economical version of the Delica. Always wanted one of those. It's cool for sure!

It is an old slipjoint made by Imperial in the US from the 1960s until the late 1980s. They came in a set with a matching folding fork and a solid spoon. They can still be found on eBay in sets or as a knife alone for very low money. This one was mine from my childhood scouting days. I believe my dad purchased it for me around 1987. The pivot on one side is eccentric so the handle itself acts as the spring. Here is a better closeup.Jazz wrote:What's the metal handled knife?
