Local knife pricing

#1

Post by radioflyer »

I was in my local outdoor sports and athletic store, and found lightweight Enduras for $50 and lightweight Delicas for $40. On top of that, because they were just opening a new store, they sent out in the mail in my area coupons for $10 off your purchase. My neighbor gave me their coupon, so I went in and got the Delica for $30 and bought the Endura for $40.

I thought I was on top of the world! They still have them for that price. I keep worrying that the price has gone up, but nope. I also keep hoping that they will carry some of the other styles, but again nope.

The store chain is so big, the guy behind the counter has no clout on what models they get. They just sell what they are sent.

Those are very good prices on a couple of very good folders! I think that you'll really like that VG-10 steel if it's your first.
