are there gonna be Military or Pm2 sprints/exclusives in 2014?

I think D2 has been covered pretty decently between the D2 para1 sprint and the XHP para2 sprint :)

yeah, the bm 940-1 and the s110v native5 look very good to me too - but have to wait till some hit ground in some european forums... importing from the us at msrp is just way too expensive.

It's definitely 'on,' but I think timing is still quite uncertain - but I might have missed a post with a timing guesstimate. As far as I'm concerned, later is better - easier on the wallet. :)

I would love a ZDP189 PM2, but I don't think it'll happen. Next on the list would be M4 for sure. How about a blood red M4! Awesome!

I think KnifeWorks is hoping for the 400-piece additional run of their green PM2 CTS-204P by late 2014.

If they use the same pricing as the first run, I don't see how any real Para 2 lovers could resist. Unfortunately, this will frustrate the flippers as well as give them another opportunity to make a buck.

They were described in a post from last year's SHOT show (http://www.spyderco.com/forums/showthre ... -the-works!)

For sure! I am surprised that we haven't had more M4 sprints. I would probably ditch my other PM2 exclusive after.
bearfacedkiller wrote:A Grey CPM Cruwear Para2 would be nice to go with my millie. M4 or s110v would also be cool and very popular.

Some carbon steel and tool steel sprints would be ideal for me. K390, CPM Cruwear, CPM M4 or (I know it is a step backwards to some) 52100 or similar would be my top picks.
I have always loved 1095 and 52100 for their ease of sharpening and for the edge they take. With the success of Super Blue maybe some other easy to sharpen steels that take atom splitting edges will become available.
I am with you, my first choice would be M4 as it just seems to be a great overall steel for me. I have the bentoboxshop Manix 2 in M4 and it has become my favorite knife to carry. Maybe someone will make a PM2 M4 with tan g10... But really I would not care what the handle material would be.

Now going into 52100, that sure would be cool. I have two kitchen knives in 52100. They take a very keen edge easily. 52100 appears to tolerate significantly acute edge angles, less than 25 inclusive well.

Great ideas...!! :D

I could see a PM2 with some wicked steel and an exotic handle material to help usher in the plant opening in Golden. Likely the Military, too. Heck, might even get a shot at that Military 2 with the stop lock we've been hearing tidbits about.

I don't know if Sal and Eric have settled on the steel for the upcoming fluted CF Para2 - but M4 would be exceedingly cool. I agree with everyone here - M4 on the Para2 platform is *way* overdue.
