Probably this is a good news for my valet.
Still hate myself that I didn't buy Ti Fluted Mily, when it was blue. I saw it once, but was short on cash at that moment.

Interesting that your non-anodized version is thicker than the blue-anodized. I don't have a micrometer, but to my eyes my non-anodized version looks the same as the blue. Maybe slight variations due to the fluting process? The non-fluted regular Ti one is of course heavier than either of the fluted ones :) .
As hard to come by as the fluted Ti Millies are, I don't think I'll be trying to add my own anodizing to mine, I'd probably mess it up - though I do have 3 fluted Ti Natives, hmmm... I don't really know what is involved in anodizing electrically or with flame without risking damage.
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)
Can you guys weigh your anodized fluted ti and non-anodized fluted ti militaries? I'll throw my anodized ti one on the scale when it comes in this week.

I have had a couple knives done by Maprik on Blade forums (electronically) and the work came out excellent. For some reason, the anodizing shows up better on my ZT 0560 than the bead blast of the titanium military (I had a plain, not a fluted) but he did great work for me and will re-anodize for you if you are not happy with the color. I was surprised by how much control he was able to achieve with the colors I requested, the knives came back spot-on with the sample pictures I provided...if you are interested the work looks great and price was very reasonable.

I feel the same as they were hard to catch as it is and I never seemed to have the dough. I'd still like to catch a fluted Millie one day and get it anodized myself.
I notice that fluted Ti Native's are starting to be seen more commonly, I wonder if this is an indication they are working out the issues with fluted Ti and maybe the fluted Ti Millie will start being seen more often?
I certainly have more fluted Ti Native's than any reasonable person ought to :) but I still find myself fighting the urge to grab another when I see it (National Knives appears to have some) and I have 2 fluted Ti Millies (one blue-anodized and one non-anodized) and still have one on pre-order with KC, yet I still find myself looking for them to appear, it's a terrible disease :) .
